Fast-rising global music star Charice is proving to be a much bigger star in Japan, what with her 2nd international album 'Infinity' debuting in Tokyo rather than in Hollywood and immediately entering the top of the iTunes-Japan charts.
But as she reveals to Rolling Stone-Japan in her video interview, it took quite a lot of challenges before she finally got the acceptance and the love that she's been getting from music fans everywhere. There was even a time, Charice recalls, she was flat out refused even of just an audition because, back then, people thought she didn't have "the looks..."
