"Sa Ngalan Ng Ina" is a rare Masterclass in the Art of Acting and Filmmaking on Philippine television, SSV contends from the start of airing. We encouraged actors, from the aspirants to the most veteran, to view the series as a virtual seminar/training/workshop that could only benefit the most open and gifted talents.
But for the selected stars who were cast in the series, the actual experience of working with two of the Philippines' most world-renowned film artists, director Mario O'Hara and thespian Nora Aunor, in one drama series is indeed nothing less than a prized opportunity that may be long in coming next time.
So as the "television event-cum-masterclass" comes to an end, SSV recognizes the stars who truly evolved as finer actors right the most discriminating viewers' eyes- and that is You- public viewers and public critics of "Sa Ngalan Ng Ina."
One important note. SSV has concluded that it is only proper to exclude from the list of nominees THE Master Thespian herself, Ms Nora Aunor. Afterall, it is on her level of excellence that this 'Masterclass' measures the rest.

UPDATE1 SSV sincerely believes that "Sa Ngalan ng Ina," with its rare combination of the best of the best film artists, particularly directors Mario O'Hara and Jon Red in collaboration with actors Nora Aunor, Christopher de Leon, Eugene Domingo and yes, Rosanna Roces could only result to nothing but a world class Masterclass in the art of finest filmmaking possible.
That TV5 is making it available of free TV is even more reason to celebrate especially for stars and artists who are determined to further hone their craft.
Thus, SSV took the initiative of inviting these stars to "attend" this masterclass using the ever-reliable direct communications applications available on social media.

Among local television shows, "Sa Ngalan ng Ina" produced by TV5 and created under the direction of Mario O'Hara and the lead performance of Ms. Nora Aunor is the first to get this ranking.
