Captain America: The Winter Soldier, already having broke advanced ticket sales records for the month of April, is on track to potentially beat that number – an interesting switch since the original Thor outsold Captain America: The First Avenger two years ago (both opened summer 2011).

"Captain America" is generally seen as the least flashy of most major Marvel superhero characters but this "weakness" could be its biggest asset, at least as far as the second film installment based on the Cap concerned.
Studio created buzz for the upcoming Chris Evans-starrer may comparatively be less than that spun for "Thor: The Dark World" basically due to the higher, "heavenly" expectations that studios have for the latter than for this all-American hero movie but in the end, the BETTER final product should deliver the better results.
To put it more bluntly, after seeing the film, we conclude that Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the better movie than the more expensive "Thor: The Dark World", thus we are giving it more of our patented Film Value Analysis points.
