SSV Film Value Analysis and Early Box-Office Forecast: "No Other Woman" (local movie)

UPDATED: Local indie sensation "Ligo Na U, Lapit na Me" competes with mainstream movie "No Other Woman" on Sept. 28 playdate. Will the Rising-Star-led cast of "Ligo" (Edgar Allan Guzman-Mercedes Cabral) significantly affect the box-office performance of the Seasoned-Star-trio (Anne-Derek-Cristine) movie?


SSV analysis: With the Star Cinema-Viva Films produced movie running way ahead in terms active promotions, it is a given that "No Other Woman" will take the top spot @ the box-office when it opens on Sept. 28. However, IF "Ligo Na U, Lapit na Me" survives its first week encounter with "No Other Woman" AND word-of-mouth spreads it as THE better movie, then the latter will see a more serious box-office competition coming its way on its 2nd week.
