Promo Trailer: standard. score = 1 starvalue point
Promo Communication Design: needs improvement score = 0.5 starvalue point
Total Current Promo Value Score (basic analysis): 0.83 starvalue points
Pop Media Strategy Analysis (Basic):
Poster. We first saw the "Way Back Home" poster online and was quite positively surprised by how the two young leads- Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes- were dolled up for the poster.
The impact of the said picture, however, is not as strong when on display in the malls.
See the poster via this link and make your own impression:
"Way Back Home" poster
Trailer. The theme song is memorable. The whole trailer, however, is too memorable. It doesn't seem to hide anything else for the public to discover.
Watch the trailer via this link and give your own opinion:
"Way Back Home" cinema trailer
Communication Design. The PCD is obviously targetted at the fans of Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes and their highly successful soap drama- the remake of "Mara Clara."
IF Star Cinema succeeds in enticing only half as much audience as the television series, then the project will have proven to be a box-office mine for the film arm of ABS-CBN.
Of course, SSV would rather see the movie succeed commercially if only for the sake of the local film industry itself. But objectively speaking, SSV has its reservations. However, and again in support of the movie producer (Star Cinema) we have only given a hint of the extent of our reservation via the score it earned from our objective and analysis.
The details of said reservations, we will only make available to selected parties who will express in knowing what these reservations are and convince us why they are interested. Note: Basic analysis only covers, well the basics, of the movie's promo campaign. In-depth study and monitoring services are available. Email your private queries to superstarvalue@yahoo.com for details. All communication are treated with utmost confidentiality.

Poster. The best thing about the Tween Academy Class of 2012 poster is the concept and the font. But most of the pictures of the relatively all-upstart cast though are, objectively speaking, unflattering and uninspired.

Trailer. We first saw the full trailer of the "Tween Academy" movie in a cinema where we watched "Ang Babae sa Septic Tank." The audience was silent from beginning to end. On television, though, we found the same trailer to be more refreshing and quite appealing to younger audiences.
Click the link to view for the trailer decide whether it offers enough fun for you to see the rest when it finally opens on August 24.

Promo Communication Design: The movie took an early promo release online and gathered the support of fans who are active in the various entertainment blogs and social-networking sites. Mall shows followed and reports say the new GMA teen stars are attracting large, noisy, excited crowds. These are all positive signs that should help strengthen the box-office potential of the movie.
But objectively speaking, we are seeing lapses in the promo communication design of the movie- some are just minor "missteps," but quite a few can be considered to be major oversights that may spell the difference when the movie finally shown. Of course, that's is merely our objective observation. You may or may not agree.
What are these major oversights? As the promo is still underway, we won't reveal our observations until the movie opens. That should give enough room for everyone to maintain and/or improve the current promo communication design as deemed fit by the producers, who are afterall the final stakeholders in this movie.
Still you may email us your query via uperstarvalue@yahoo.com with your real name and state the reason/s why you are involved in the success of the "Tween Academy Class of 2012" movie and we might just share our findings to you before anyone else.
